Description

AGA is seeking an intern to join its Office of General Counsel team to help support all facets of OGC’s operations. Β  Under the supervision of OGC attorneys, the OGC intern can expect to work collaboratively with AGA staff on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues impacting AGA and AGA members, including issues related to environmental and climate law, energy law (e.g., FERC), pipeline safety, and general issues related to legal compliance. The intern will be expected to conduct legal research, draft documents, and review documents for legal sufficiency. Β This opportunity will provide the intern a valuable opportunity to learn about AGA and the practice of law at a major trade association.Β 

AGA OGC staff will provide mentoring and assistance with professional development skills.Β

Requirements

Successful candidates will be excellent writers and researchers, be able to work collaboratively, and be eager to learn and expand their skillsets. Β Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and have completed at least one year of law school.Β
