Job Title: Legal Counsel – Retail Leasing
Location: Plantation, FL (50% onsite, 50% remote)
Salary: $155K-$165K base, plus up to 20% bonus

We are a leading logistics company with offices worldwide. We are hiring a Legal Counsel to join our U.S.-based team. This role offers the chance to work with an international network of legal professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll play a key role in providing legal expertise and guidance on real estate and commercial agreements, contributing to the company’s growth and operational success.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements, focusing on retail leasing.
Provide legal advice and manage procurement/vendor contracts, including master service agreements and NDAs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, real estate, and procurement.
Advise business units on legal risks, regulatory compliance, and contract administration.
Develop and deliver training on relevant legal topics as needed.
Assist in litigation processes.
Research legal issues, draft memoranda, and collaborate with external legal counsel.
Must-Have Skills:
J.D. from an accredited law school and current license to practice law in the U.S.
5+ years of legal experience in commercial real estate and contract negotiation.
Strong expertise in industrial, warehouse, or retail leasing.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with purchase, sale, and development contracts.
Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or similar industries.
