The job
The Legal Counsel, United States will primarily be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of complex commercial contracts to support AVEVAβs business, largely in an assigned territory or in connection with AVEVAβs academic licensing program.
Reporting to the Legal Director, the Legal Counsel will be trusted advisor who is customer service oriented, has an eagerness to tackle a wide range of legal and business issues and the ability to balance legal risks with business objectives and successfully get deals closed in a timely manner and, all with a positive attitude.
The Legal Counsel will also provide counsel regarding compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies. He/she will be required to work closely with counterparts in EMEA and Asia Pacific to support the Associate General Counsel, in addition to working with other business teams, both in region and globally.
